As a photographer, I have always tried to capture the mood of the sea, cliffs, beaches and skies in the images I take, but since coming out of first lockdown, everything I see, feel and smell seems to be intensified. I started making candles during lockdown when I could not get out with my camera. I wanted to capture the essence of Cornwall in a candle, a scent that would evoke memories of the places that we love. As with my photography work, I wanted to create something completely unique that would enable people to take a bit of Cornwall home with them. I hope you enjoy my candles and as much as I have enjoyed making them.
